Geoff Neupert - Reflexive Strength

geoffnboyMy name is Geoff Neupert.

And I love strength and it’s display in all forms. You could say I’m obsessed with it.

I have been “chasing strength” since I was hanging from my clothesline at age 3 trying to do pull-ups.

I believe everybody should be and can be as strong as they want to be – both physically and mentally, and the two, when trained, perpetuate the growth of each other.

My strength pursuits of choice were wrestling, which I was OK at, and Olympic Weightlifting, which I was a little better at, winning the NJ State Championships in 1999, and qualifying for the US Nationals in 2000.

I’ve been working in the fitness industry since 1993 when I started working in the college gym and training people for free. Since then I’ve been a Division 1 college strength and conditioning coach (Rutgers University), opened my town’s first personal training studio (Triangle Personal Training), opened my town’s first kettlebell only group fitness studio (Rapid Results Fitness), written a few books, (Kettlebell Muscle, Six Pack Abs 365, The Permanent Weight Loss Solution) and become a staunch advocate of kettlebell and bodyweight training, working for Pavel Tsatsouline as one of his Master Kettlebell Instructors. And since 2000, I’ve logged over 21,500 hours of one-one-one personal training.

Recently, I’ve teamed up with my good friend, Tim Anderson, and have been touring the US presenting a simple, and unique way to “reset” your body and overcome movement compensations, dysfunctions, and injuries with our “Becoming Bulletproof” Workshops. This is my current passion, helping people regain their original strength and set them free from the complexity of our man-made movement restoration systems.

I am married to a beautiful woman and we have a son – a miracle child.
